Prior to this century, the Andes grave had only a brass marker placed by the Association in the 1930s. The name on the marker was ANDES. The marker was lost over the years. Using the Association archives and the OK vital statistics office more details were learned about the grave. A new marker with the proper information was placed by the Association in 2009.
